For more than 150 years, the Society of St. Vincent
de Paul has served the homeless, men, women,
and children in the Louisville area.
They provide lodging, meals, long-term housing,
counseling, and training.
With the help of volunteers, meals are served,
help in many other ways including office work,
social activities, Life-Skills Program tutors,
campus beautification and
various projects are done.
The Society rely on private donations and
devoted volunteer groups to help break
the cycle of poverty. |
